The excitement of starting a business is great. The service of print on demand was too enticing for me to pass up trying. I did 5he basic research and chose to settle on a company in North Carolina called Printful. (Big Mistake.)
I figured with that many warehouses globally and e commerce platforms attached to it, it must be a reputable company. Also, they have a live chat customer service portal to speak to. So all is good, right? (Please feel the dripping sarcasm).
Well...
Into the Abyss...
I started an account with this #Printful a few years ago. I had gotten out of my account and couldn't get back in with my password. Like all of us when in this situation, I clicked the reset password link and waited. The E Mail came, but the link went nowhere. I tried to reset again, then went through the same thing. Then customer service got involved and sent me that e mail with the same result. It hit me like a freight train. They were doing this on purpose. I was being "looped".
(No, this isn't a real term, just how it felt.)
I complained, but to no avail. Fast forward 3 years later and I go back to the same company again. I had forgotten about the experience in that it took place over a few minutes, then I moved on. (Store had not been built yet.)Also, I was told in the tech world the turn over was higher and this person may have moved on. This time, though, I didn't log out of my account.
This time:
1) I wanted to change e mails and forgotten my account password.
2) I hit the reset link I got in the my reset e mail with dead link to a page that wouldn't let me in my account.
3)I was still in my account because I had not logged out yet.
4) I saw that Martins Berents, their tech guy put his work E mail in the account and had removed the change e mail link.
5) When caught, I posted snapshots to CEO and corporate accounts on Twitter. Printful claimed it was a system update issue and wanted to talk only through Twitter direct message. I confronted again, and was given a canned response multiple times.
6)Snapshot below verifies they had to put my E Mail back.
7)The company #Printful did not cut its losses and fire Martins Berents. Means they are most likely aware of the con and that it is how they do business. So I had to cut mine (loses).
Summary
Stay away from this company. The field of clothing print on demand companies have enough global competition to keep your company going.

My company is called Cook it! Bake it! Make it! And the brand is mine. If you see the "Foodie" designs on the clothing below ANYWHERE UP TO APRIL 2, 2019, know that I was scammed, and that you have purchased a knock off. I HAVE NEVER SOLD OR BEEN ABLE TO RECEIVE A SALE ON THE MERCHANDISE I DESIGNED THAT THIS COMPANY WAS SUPPOSED TO PRINT FOR ME. Please leave me a note or send an e mail if you have ever seen the clothes below anywher. Thanks!
